Ayşegül İzer was born in Istanbul, Turkey. In 1980 she was graduated from Italian High School and in 1985 “summa cum laude” from Sarajevo Fine Arts Academy, Graphic Design Department. In 2000, she established her own design studio. Between 2005-2017, she was the Head of Graphic Design Department at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. She is the Co-Founder of ESTV- Emre Senan Design Foundation. Her works have been published in numerous publications, exhibitions, collections and museums. She has held seminars, directed workshops and been participated in juries. She has run articles on the issues of her profession and won 11 international awards. She knows Italian, English, Serbian and Latin.
